Black Magic Design recently launched two new models of their Cinema Camera. One is almost the same in size as their first 2.5K Raw Cinema camera launched but will shoot 4K. It also has Super 35mm Cinema Sensor, as demanded by the indie film maker community. Their second model is a portable camera that also shoots RAW 1080p video and has super 16mm sensor.
Where 4K model is priced 3995.00 USD, the portable one will cost 995.00 USD. Both are great cameras that shoots RAW videos, but like it’s previous model, they won’t actually record as RAW video files like RED or SONY but will record as sequential RAW image files.
To conclude, Black Magic Design are coming ahead to compete with RED and Canon DSLR users.
